LONG BEACH, Calif. – DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc., an affiliate of leading mobility supplier DENSO, is showcasing its new EdgeCool system for cooling rack-mounted computer servers at the 2022 Data Center World conference. The compact, high-efficiency system is on display at Booth #829 during the March 28-31 event at the Austin Convention Center in downtown Austin, Texas.

EdgeCool revolutionizes IT cooling by transforming server racks into their own portable, energy-saving server rooms. The patented split system is made up of a condenser and an evaporator that fit easily into almost any open or sealed server rack. The self-contained equipment eliminates the need for more floor space, a dedicated server room, or disruptive and costly building modifications.
EdgeCool is designed to ensure precision cooling for optimal performance and continuous temperature control for up to three racks of sensitive equipment without wasting energy to cool unused space. Key features include a variable-speed fan that automatically adjusts to match the heat load inside the rack with separation of hot and cold airflow to maximize efficiency. The system supports multiple applications including commercial, industrial, decentralized edge computing, home-based businesses, and off-site computing for oil, gas, mining, agricultural and other field operations.
EdgeCool also accommodates specialized server racks in harsh or sound-sensitive environments such as busy factory floors, earthquake-prone areas, and broadcast and recording studios. The system has the cooling capacity of up to 15,400 Btu/h (4.5 kW) and runs on standard 120V/20A power.
