MovinCool® Readies Products for Mexico Market

Receives NOM Certification from ETL Mexico

June 25, 2013

Long Beach, CA

MovinCool®, a brand of DENSO Corporation, announced that it has received NOM (Official Mexican Standard) safety certification from ETL Mexico. The certification applies to four of MovinCool’s best-selling portable spot air conditioners, the Classic Plus 14 and Office Pro 18, 36 and 60 models. Compliance with NOM is required for products imported for sale in Mexico.

“We are very excited to bring MovinCool to the Mexican market,” said David Keller, manager, Heat Management Department. “Our portable spot air conditioners are an ideal solution for cooling people, processes and equipment in industrial, IT, healthcare, office and school and outdoor-event applications. One of the biggest advantages is that they require almost no installation. You just roll them in, plug them in and turn them on. And unlike conventional air conditioners, they bring cool air directly to the ‘hot spots’ that need it, so they are inexpensive to run and highly effective.”
